I am an artist based in Athens – Greece.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I suspect listening is a practice of being repeatedly undone. Rather than taking it as a given, I return to the conditions that make it possible and ask how bodies, voice, vibration, architectures, technologies continually shape one another. I grow long-term artistic inquiries through sustained attention to the ordinary and its oral cultures with persistent focus on noise and the acousmatic experience.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I work in small gestures and across media, alone and in collaboration, probing the space between art and the everyday.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In 2010, I co-founded Rekem Records<\/em><\/strong><\/a> together with Aggelos Theodorou<\/strong><\/a> and Nicolas Malevitsis<\/strong><\/a>, releasing records in physical format with sound works stemming from practices in sound art, field recording, and experimental and electronic music, and their intersections. Kostis Kilymis<\/strong><\/a> joined the label shortly after and has been co-running it together with us ever since.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In 2021, I completed my PhD, \u201cSound and Listening in the Athenian Apartment Building (Polykatoikia) as Artistic Practice<\/strong><\/a>\u201c, at the Athens School of Fine Arts. I also hold an MFA in Public Art and New Artistic Strategies<\/em> from Bauhaus-Universit\u00e4t Weimar (2010) and a BFA in Painting from the Athens School of Fine Arts (2006).<\/p>\n

Currently I work as an adjunct lecturer at the Athens School of Fine Arts, teaching the course Art, City, Sound<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. We explore the artistic practices that emerge with urban sonorities in Athens.<\/p>\n
